Epicanthoplasty & Lateral Canthoplasty

WHAT IS IT?

Epicanthoplasty (inner eyelid surgery)/Lateral Canthoplasty (outer eyelid surgery) is a very popular procedure for clients who want to eliminate the Mongolian fold, which is prevalent among Asians. In South Korea, it is very common to have epicanthoplasty in conjunction with double eyelid surgery to achieve a more natural look.

WHO NEEDS IT?

You may be a good candidate if your eyes are far apart. Also, as epicanthoplasty/lateral canthoplasty will correct your Mongolian fold resulting in sharper inner eyelids, you can obtain more charismatic looking eyes.

SURGERY PROCEDURE

The procedure will widen the inner eyelid (epicanthoplasty) or the outer eyelid (lateral cantophlasty) through incisions around the area. It will sharpen the edges of the eyes, and reshape the horizontal length of the eyes.
